Sharon Clinton

Sharon started her financial services career over 40 years ago with Equion Securities which would later form part of what is now Assante Wealth Management. She has worked with international firms such as Prudential Bache, Dean Witter and Merrill Lynch servicing institutional clients, government agencies, and high net worth individuals.  

Sharon joined Assante in 1997 as Senior Private Client Manager and spent the next ten years servicing high net worth clients before leaving to manage her own practice with a dedicated team of well-respected investment, estate and tax professionals. As a CFP, Sharon focuses on helping clients achieve their financial goals using investment management, retirement and financial planning, as well as estate planning and risk management, and has enjoyed building long-term relationships with clients – usually at their kitchen table! 

Sharon is proudest of her two grown children, Kourtni and Jared, and lifelong love shared with her husband, Dwayne, of 41 years. Jokingly, Sharon has said that if she were not a financial advisor, she would have been a carpenter, for she and her husband enjoy their spare time by renovating old houses or building new ones. Not far from her roots of growing up in a small seaside village on the coast of Newfoundland, Sharon still loves the serenity and peaceful tranquility of water. If Sharon is without her toolbelt, she is often found in her garden or walking along the lake around their Winnipeg Beach community with their two dogs.
