Wayne Vokey

Wayne’s path to co-founding the Clearwater Group is no short story. He began his pursuit of the Financial Services sector on the back of an 11-year career in banking, working in the areas of branch administration, training and personnel, bank inspection, and Branch Management.

With complete freedom to hone his skills and grow his business at the first Private Wealth firm he joined, Wayne eventually became a Partner and held positions of Vice President and President before amalgamating with Financial Concept Group and later, Assante Wealth Management. Wayne found a true passion in providing personal Financial Planning, Investment advice, and Retirement & Estate Planning services, obtaining his CFP designation in 1989 and holding it for over 30 years.

Meeting, educating, and advising clients has never felt like work for Wayne. Within this long and rewarding career, he has found his calling in helping his clients grasp and apply the concepts he’s taught, enhancing their respective lives.

Now semi-retired, Wayne is a proud grandfather and is more often spotted at the lake with family than in the office – although he is always a welcome face amongst the rest of the team and many of his clients and friends. He believes the future of the Clearwater Group is nearly as bright as the sun glancing off the lake on a beautiful summer day.
